Become your customer Look at your business through your customers’ eyes, ears and all their senses. Create a prioritised list and change everything that might put a customer off.
It’s really easy to please yourself when we are running a business, it might even be what attracted you to start your business in the first place.
Pleasing your customers is what will get you recommended and repeat custom.
If you find it difficult, why not do some market research, this could be a survey or a focus group. Or perhaps you could employ someone from your target demographic.
Ultimately you need to ask rather than assume you know what your customers want and how they want it delivered or it will lead to frustration and disappointment on both sides, and business derailment for you.
